The Quiet Shift That Changes Everything

I’ve been sitting with this note for a while. Not because I didn’t know what to say, but because moments like this feel… quite personal.

This came from a client I had the privilege of coaching over a period of time, through the work we’ve been doing with Singapore Chapter of ICF and St. Andrew’s Autism Centre. And what stayed with me wasn’t just the kind words, but the shift behind them.

From “I have no idea if I’m doing this right” to “𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆… 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀.”

That quiet transition, from doubt to clarity, from second-guessing to owning, that’s the real work. And it rarely happens in one big moment.

It shows up in the in-between.
In the conversations where we pause a little longer.
In the questions that don’t give answers, but open something up.
In the space where someone feels safe enough to think honestly.

What I appreciate most about this journey is the 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁. 😊
Because coaching only works when someone is willing to show up, reflect, and do the inner work, and that’s never something I take lightly.

And honestly, I am just really grateful. Grateful for the openness, the honesty, and the willingness to stay with the process even when it wasn’t always clear or easy.

To my client Jolene Ng, thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. It means more than I probably say out loud. 🥰 THANK YOU!

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do.

If you’re navigating something similar, whether it’s self-doubt, transition, or just feeling a little stuck in your own head, having the right space (and the right conversation) can make more of a difference than you think.
